Rough cut of our horror film
Feedback on our rough cut:
The majority of people who watched our rough cut said that the main thing which our rough cut lacked was backing music. As a group we are planning on improving our film by working on background music which will also contribute to our film being more suitable for our genre. The feedback we got usually said that our location was suitable however the lighting was too bright for a horror film. As a group we will have to improve this by changing the light settings possibly to in turn create a scarier film to suit our genre.

Our Prelim
This is our prelim where we were able to experiment before filming our horror film with specific camera techniques that we could need to use in the future for our film. Using a a range of shots we were able to develop our camera skills, acting and get use to the equipment as a group, ready for filming our horror. The key skills we used were the 180 degree rule, a shot reverse shot and match on action. We were able to show each of these effectively and show from a range of different views and close ups. Though we used each of these i feel we could of shown the shoot reverse shot in a more interesting way as it is a little repetitive. We need to think about using a range of camera techniques for our horror film.
